A Telegram group created 2022-04-06, strictly focusing on finding potential issues with contracts created for PulseChain. The aim is to post and discuss findings in order to make contract risks more transparent for the public and motivate the founders and developers towards quality. Also to point out differences between descriptions and what the code does.
Code is Law
No verified code on the blockchain = no review.
The group name is tongue-in-cheek, we obviously have no ability to enforce anything.
Publishing a review, discussing risks is more like journalism or a town meeting.
Review requests can look a lot like advertisements, so we delete repeats. Make sure to present a verified contract address, as we only review visible code. Verified means the contract is publicly viewable. Non-verified contracts only show compiled, unreadable code. Decompiling is possible but tedious.
There is always some risk, so the best we can say is We haven't found any red flags.
The group will never endorse or approve a smart contract. Reviews are not audits.
The group focuses on the code doing what is advertised and best practices to minimize contract risk. The distribution model, founder behavior and other factors have too much room for opinions, so we avoid criticizing business plans, business practices or people.
Volunteer developer capacity for reviews is very limited, so have no expectations.
There is no funding, we don't accept donations. Anyone can contribute, the group is a virtual place for the whole PulseChain community.
